Membership Information
- Membership costs £37 per person each year, and is due by 1st August annually. Joint subscriptions are £74 per year.
The majority of members Gift Aid their subscription, giving us a helpful additional source of revenue.
- Membership entitles attendance at the ten lectures and the opportunity to join Visits.
- We have a waiting list but generally membership is granted within a year. Prospective members are invited to apply to the Secretary (see Contact us).
- Under clause 4(f) of our constitution, “If any ordinary member shall not attend at least two lectures of the Society in any one year commencing 1st August,
that member shall be deemed to have resigned from the Society”.
- Members may bring a guest at a charge of £5 per meeting, but no guest may attend more than twice in a programme year.
Before bringing a guest, please check with the secretary that there is space available.
